Is the video really 5K?

Yes, and here's the detail that matters: 5K records at 20 frames a second. That's more detail than 4K, but a slightly lower frame rate than the 30 fps most video uses. For people talking, scenery and slow pans it looks great. Fast movement looks a touch less smooth.

Are the photos really 75 megapixels?

Yes, at the top setting. This is a compact camera, not a pro one, so the point isn't giant prints. It's big files you can zoom into and crop without them falling apart.

Does it zoom?

Yes, up to 18x. It's digital zoom, which means the camera blows up part of the picture instead of moving glass. So the further you zoom, the softer it gets. Great in daylight. Treat the far end as a bonus.

Do I need a memory card?

Yes, and it isn't in the box. The camera records to a microSD card, so pick one up when you order — they cost a few dollars and any camera-rated card will do. Without one there is nowhere for your photos to go. The battery is included, so the card is the only thing you need to add.

Will my videos be shaky?

That's up to you — there's no built-in shake control. Hold it with both hands and keep your elbows tucked in. Use the flip screen to watch your framing. If you're walking, take smaller steps and go slower. It makes a big difference.

Is it fast? Does the shutter click?

It's a compact camera, not a sports camera. After each photo there's a short pause while it saves to the card. The shutter does make a click. For quick shots in a row, turn the dial to Burst. For anything moving fast, shoot video and pull a still from it later.

How is the sound on videos?

The built-in mic is fine when you're talking to the camera from arm's length. It picks up the room well enough. But it's a small mic, so wind, distance and loud music will show. If sound matters, film close.

Why do my photos look different indoors and outdoors?

Auto handles most scenes, but a sunny afternoon and a lamp-lit room are very different amounts of light. Indoors, hold still and use the front light for close-up subjects. Outdoors, keep the sun behind you. It takes a day or two to learn.

How does the flip screen work?

The screen folds up and over the top of the camera. It ends up above the lens, pointing the same way. So you see exactly what the lens sees while you talk to it. Fold it back down and it's a normal screen again.

How do I get photos onto my phone?

Turn on the camera's WiFi and open the app. You get a live view, a shutter button, and a list of your photos and videos to download. From there they save straight to your camera roll. No cable needed.

Is it good for a beginner or a kid?

Yes. It's the kind of camera you learn on. Turn the dial to Auto, press the shutter, and it does the rest. The other modes are there when you want to try them. It's light and small, so small hands manage it fine.

How is it in low light?

There's a small light on the front for close-up subjects, so you'll get the shot at a dinner table or a restaurant. Expect grain in really dark places. That's the trade-off for a camera this small.

Black or Pink — is there a difference?

Only the color. Same camera, same box, same price.

What if it arrives broken or stops working?

We fix it. Email support@realabs.co within 14 days with a photo or a short clip. We'll replace it or refund you, and we pay the postage both ways. You never pay to send back something that didn't work. If it stops working later, you're still covered for 180 days.

What if it's just not for me?

Take it on a trip. Take it to a party. Use it for a whole season. If you still don't love it, email support@realabs.co with your order number any time in the first 180 days. We'll refund you. You don't have to explain why.

When will it arrive, and what does shipping cost?

Shipping is free and tracked on every order, with no minimum. We pack orders in 1 to 2 business days. Delivery usually takes about 5 business days after that. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
