How it scores
The beam does the tagging.
Pull the trigger and the blaster sends an invisible infrared beam — the same kind a TV remote uses. Land it on the receiver on the other player's vest and their lives tick down, on their chest and on their blaster. Nothing flies, nothing to pick up, nothing stings.
Four weapon modes
Pick your play style.
Single shot gives you nine shots and takes one life per hit. Machine gun and laser gun: six shots, two lives per hit. Plasma: one shot, and it takes all three lives at once. Pick a mode before the round and the whole game changes.
Teams in a press
Four colours. Any mix.
Press team select on the blaster and the vest, and both glow your colour — blue, red, green or yellow. Only opposing colours can score on you, so parents vs kids, two-a-side, a four-way free-for-all or everyone against the birthday kid all work. In the 8-player set, two players share each colour — room for grandparents and cousins.

FAQs
1How does it work?
Each player wears a chest vest and carries a blaster. Pull the trigger and the blaster sends an invisible infrared beam — the same kind a TV remote uses. When it lands on the receiver on another player's vest, their lives count down on the vest and on their blaster. Three lives, and you're out of the round.
2Does anything actually shoot out of it?
No. The orange tip is a marker, not a muzzle. Nothing leaves the blaster except an infrared beam you can't see, so there is nothing to collect afterwards and nothing that stings.
3How many people can play?
Two, four or eight, depending on the set. Every player has a blaster and a vest. Press team select to pick a colour — blue, red, green or yellow — and only opposing colours can score on you. That gives you head-to-head, two-a-side, a four-way free-for-all, or everyone against one. In the 8-player set, two players share each colour.
4What do the four weapon modes do?
Single shot: nine shots, one life per hit — the long game. Machine gun and laser gun: six shots, two lives per hit. Plasma gun: one shot, and it takes all three lives at once. Pick a mode before the round and it changes how everyone plays — plasma makes people hide; single shot makes them run.
5Where's the best place to play?
Anywhere with room to run and a few things to hide behind — a living room, a hallway, a basement, a garage. It looks best with the lights down, because the vests and blasters glow in their team colour. Clear line of sight matters: the beam has to reach the receiver on the vest.
6Can grown-ups play too?
Yes — that's the point. The vest strap adjusts, and three lives are three lives whoever is wearing them. Parents vs kids is the classic line-up; with the 8-player set there's room for grandparents and cousins as well. It's the family activity that doesn't need anyone to be talked into it.
7Is it safe for kids?
The hit is an infrared beam, so there is nothing to catch, swallow or get stung by. Teach the one habit that matters — aim at the vest, not at faces — and keep the running to spaces where running is fine.
8What batteries does it need?
Each vest takes three AAA batteries, which aren't included — so a 4-player set needs twelve for the vests. The blaster has its own battery compartment in the grip. Stock up before the party.
9Which set should we get?
Two players for a head-to-head pair. Four players for two-a-side or a four-way free-for-all, with all four colours in the box. Eight players for parties and cousins — two of each colour, four teams. The price per player drops as the set gets bigger, and the buy box shows the saving next to each pack.
10Is it good for a birthday party?
It is the party plan. Hand out vests at the door, let everyone pick a colour, and the next hour sorts itself out. The 8-player set covers four teams of two; add the birthday kid's friends in rounds if there are more.
11How long does it take to set up?
About a minute. Batteries in, power button on the blaster and the vest, pick a team colour on each, done. There's no screen in the setup — the controls are buttons on the gear.
